Dinosaurs are a new favorite among most young kids and my twins are no exceptions! I bought 2 Fisher-Price Imaginext Spike the Ultra Dinosaur for them on their 8th birthday last month and they thoroughly enjoy playing with Spike!

Children will instantly love Spikes cool personality. His eyes blink when he is switched on, he has gnarly teeth and poky spikes on his back. He has a cute round yellow belly and a green skin. Putting Spike together is very easy. Just follow the instructions on the box, and Spike is ready to explore his world!

Spike the Ultra Dinosaur runs a remote control. He can walk forward, turn left, right, open its mouth , rotate his head and even throw a boulder! The spike on his back lights up when you make him stand up. He is 27 inches tall and to add to the fun, there are sound effects too! You can make Spike roar and growl while he is doing his activities, bringing the ultimate dinosaur to life!

Fisher-Price Imaginext Spike the Ultra Dinosaur comes with a wireless remote control with big illustrated buttons making it easy for your kids to use it. It also comes with an instruction booklet which shows you how to attach Spike’s legs and tail. These pieces are color coded to prevent any confusion. Make sure you firmly attach all the connection points otherwise Spike would wobble while walking.

You would also want to fully charge the rechargeable NiMH batteries, which would take up to 4 hours so that your kids can have a fun time with Spike without any interruptions. The remote control requires 3 AA batteries which are not included in the pack.

When you turn Spike on, the spikes on his back and tail illuminate and his eyes start to blink. It can be a little difficult at first to maneuver Spike, but with practice it gets easier to control. Each middle button on the remote control has new actions for Spike. Have him stand on his hind legs, hang his head low or move his jaws, it’s a delight to watch Spike do all the Dinosaur stuff and your kid will thoroughly enjoy it! Your kid can pick from continuous background music while Spike is at play or occasional roars and growls.

Spikes large size makes him an excellent outdoor playmate for your kids. It’s a fun cool toy for $129.88. Your kids will love it for sure! There is nothing more delightful to watch your young dinosaur enthusiast jump with joy!

For some people, Christmas carolers are a special part of Christmas, and without them, the holiday would not be the same. There is something beautiful about hearing Christmas carolers outside your home, singing in beautiful harmony as the snow falls and twilight looms. Some sing traditional carols while others choose to go with more modern songs.

Sadly, singing Christmas carols is a tradition that has somewhat died out due to safety issues, but you can still find Christmas carolers in your community if you want to hear some marvelous singing at Christmas time.

You may find that schools and other groups put on holiday themed shows that feature Christmas carolers and other musical acts. The school band and the school chorus might perform a magical program meant to inspire the magic of the holiday season. These events are sometimes free, and at other times, they are used to raise money for your school music programs. I remember these events quite clearly from when I was a child, and it became a Christmas tradition to go see the Christmas carolers and the school band perform. They gave a beautiful twist to many of the Christmas songs I knew and loved.

For a universally appealing Christian Christmas gift, a cross on a pendant, ring or earrings make a keepsake gift, for children and adults alike. Children especially cherish rings, which make them feel a special, personal attachment to Jesus.
Catholics love Rosary beads, as they contemplate on Jesus life when saying the Rosary. Catholic websites have a huge selection of beautiful Rosarys. You might also visit the Lourdes and Vatican websites.

No matter our age, our race, or our nationality; No matter our heritage, our upbringing, or our traditions; At Christmas time, we live, we laugh, and we love.

Though not yet as popular as Costa del Sol, Madrid or Barcelona, Almeria is a rapidly developing holiday spot with enough choices of airlines and airports to get you there at a good price.

Airports: Belfast, Birmingham, Dublin, Gatwick, Leeds, Luton, Manchester, London Stansted.

Airlines:Monarch, Easyjet, Ryanair, Iberia

Fares to Aleneria are somewhat more expensive as there is not as much competition among airlines offering it as a destination. Fares can range from 139 up to 230 and more depending on your carrier. If you’re having difficulty finding a suitable flight to Almeria, consider a flight to Malaga as an alternative. Almeria is only a 2 hour drive from the Malaga Airport. You could also consider flying into Granada and catch the A-92 Autovia into Almeria.

Alemeria airport (LEI) is a small but modern airport and becomes busier each year. You can chose to hire a car, take the bus service or take a cab into the city.

Almeria is located at the eastern edge of Andalucia. Because the Almeria region and Costa Almeria are only now growing in popularity among holidaymakers, there is no defined busy season. You’ll be able to find a variety of activities and places of interest year-round. New resorts are springing up east and west of the city.

The city has a rich history and takes influence from the Phoenicians, Carthaginians, Romans and Moors who all occupied the city before it was recaptured by Christian armies in the 15th century. As evidence, the imposing Alcazaba, a Moorish fortress, overlooks the town from its hilltop perch.

You’ll find a strong African influence here due to the large number of immigrant workers from Morocco, Tunisia and others. You can even take a ferry trip to North Africa from Almeria.

Choose from a good selection of galleries, museums and shops for diversion. The Olive Oil Museum, located in the city’s historical quarter in a 19th century home, gives you the chance to taste a variety of olive oils. La Rambla is a long avenue of squares, street cafes and children’s play areas. For architecture buffs, the old city offers fascinating medieval examples with colonnades, archways and squares you can explore on foot.

There are seven golf courses in Almeria offering something for novice golfers as well as more experienced players.

Nature provides much to see in Almeria. Inland you’ll find an almost lunar-like landscape, chosen as a perfect backdrop for the “spaghetti westerns” of the 1970s. Almeria is also known for its troglodyte villages - a community of cave dwellers who have fashioned extraordinary homes, complete with smart doors and puffing chimneys, in the soft rock.

Hikers, bird waters, and scuba divers find the Cabo del Gato-Nijar nature preserve a favorite attraction. Its desert landscape and rugged coastline doted with small coves provides adventure for nature lovers of all types.

You can find more tame entertainment choices at the tourist centers on the eastern coast of the province at Mojacar and on the southern coast, west of the city. Here are beaches, marinas, international restaurants, hotels and sports centers.

Medical coverage can be a big concern for Canadian residents who travel on a regular basis. Regular insurance may only cover a small portion of emergency medical expenses that occur outside of the providence in which a person resides, if any of is even covered at all.

Uncovered emergency medical expenses can absolutely cripple a person or family financially. Emergency medical care costs can begin to add up even if you do have some coverage, but those with no coverage at all could quickly find themselves in a hole too deep to get out of after just a day or two in the hospital.

Extra travel insurance could be an absolute necessity if you are required to travel on a regular basis for your employer, but it?s also a good idea for those that just need to travel on occasion.

Piece of Mind

Travel insurance in Canada is available to almost all people in virtually any type of situation where travel is taking place. It’s capable of taking care of someone involved in any multitude of different situations, so Canadian residents are able to travel as much as they need to without any worries at all.

Outsiders looking In

For people traveling to Canada from another country, the problem of coverage under their regular insurance may also pose a problem. Many insurance companies don’t cover all of the expenses that can be incurred when an injury or emergency occurs during international travel.

For people who want to spend some time in Canada for pleasure, or those that are required to travel to and stay in Canada for business there is Visitors to Canada travel insurance.

Emergency medical care anywhere in the world can be very expensive, but with visitors to Canada travel insurance visitors can spend their time in Canada focusing on what’s important to their trip, whether it be business or pleasure, without any fear.

In order to obtain Visitors to Canada travel insurance, a visitor will need to know in which province they will be spending the majority of their time and they’ll have to fill out a declaration of health before being able to purchase the plan that will best accommodate their needs for a particular trip. That doesn’t seem like very much at all to truly obtain piece of mind to know that you?ll be taken care of in the event of any unforeseen instances.

Travel insurance, depending upon the type of plan chosen, may also cover such things as: accommodations, transportation and reimbursement for necessities like clothing and toiletries in the event that an injury or emergency prevents you from continuing your travels as planned.

If you are traveling with family and loved ones and purchase a plan for the group - if one person becomes injured or requires emergency treatment, the others in the group could be eligible for several amenities as well should the injury affect or inhibit the rest of their travel.

Many travelers going from province to province or coming from outside of Canada in, think that travel insurance is simply an extra expense that they don’t really need - they adopt the attitude that if they travel and nothing happens to them (which is often the most likely outcome) that they will have, in effect, wasted X amount of dollars that could have been used for something better. Though this is a very real possibility, in most cases there will be no accidents or emergencies what so ever and all travelers will arrive home on time, safe and sound. What these travelers should consider though is that accidents do happen - one accident could mean terrible things for a traveler who isn’t covered.

For those traveling (especially frequently) through Canada and who aren’t already covered through some other method of coverage, health insurance Canada should be considered a necessity.

The Luxury massage chair recliner model HT-1650 is the subject of this product review. The HT 1650 is made by Human Touch. The HT1650 is unique in that it looks like a normal recliner, but has many massage therapy capabilities. Let us take a look at this unique massage chair, the HT-1650 by Human Touch.

We are first going to look at warranty coverage. We emphasize this because we have seen our share of customer horror stories of going with a small massage chair importer. They then run into problems and get stuck with a chair that doesn’t work, no parts are available and no one can fix it. We always recommend going with a recognized brand with higher quality standards and longevity.

Human Touch provides the following warranty coverage for the HT 1650 massage recliner. You get 5 years on the structure, 3 years parts, 1 year labor and 90 days of in field service. Compared to other known brands, this warranty coverage is competitive. We would like to see more coverage for labor which in our opinion should be equal to the parts.

Now let us get to the good stuff: massage therapy. The HT 1650 comes with a variety of massage therapy functions. There are manual massage functions such as rolling, compression, kneading and percussion. You can also select to focus on certain areas of the back. This massage recliner comes with 8 pre-programs. Select from these full body massages which include full body sore muscle relief, sports and back therapy, leg- foot-hip therapy, neck-shoulders relief, after work stretch, morning wake up, night time soothing, and massage demonstration.

The HT-1650 has a built in body scan function. The body scan detects your acupressure points throughout you back. The computer notes the location of each point and identifies the most important for stimulation. The massage is then adjusted to target those acupressure points to help induce full body relaxation. This is particularly important for the shiatsu style massage, which stimulates your acupressure points during the course of the massage.

The HT-1650 comes with a hidden calf and foot massager. The calf and foot massage doubles as a regular leg rest when not being used for massage. This calf and foot massager is hidden in the front of the chair. The massager can be flipped to reveal the calf and foot massager. This is a great feature in that the calf and foot massager can be hidden from view when not in use.

The calf and foot massager is used for providing a compression massage to either the feet or calves. The compression massage utilizes a squeeze, hold and release technique favored by massage therapists around the world. The calf and foot massage uses a compressor to deliver pressurized air to the airbags which perform the compression massage. This massage is very invigorating and relieving for tight calves and for loosening up the feet after a long day.

The massage remote control is thin and has controls on two sides. The main controls are on the front of the remote and the massage comfort, heat and roller position are located on the side. The remote fits into an upholstered pocket on the side panel of the recliner. There is no remote stand which is nice. The concept of the HT 1650 is to have a massage chair hidden inside a normal upholstered recliner. We think Human Touch has very effectively accomplished this goal. Overall, this is a very effective massage recliner with some therapeutic massage therapies in the luxury class of massage chairs.

This guide will seek to provide you with an explanation of the various concepts and terms which are used which respect to Canon EOS flash photography.

Flash and Strobe

What is the main difference between a Flash and strobe is just whether you are using UK or US English. We refer a strobe as a flash unit in the US whereas the British uses the word as meaning anything which emit blinking lights. Other commonly used terms which cause confusion in flash photography are the words “Speedlight” and “Speedlite”. Speedlight is actually the brand name of Nikon series of flash units while Speedlite is the brand name of Canon series of flash units.

Guide Number

The maximum distance which a flash unit can reach with its flash pulse is known as the guide number. But if you are using automatic flash metering, this number is not important at all. You will only need to know this number when you are more inclined to do manual settings for your flash.

EV (Exposure Value)

EV or Exposure value is the value used for deciding the sensitivity of the AF (Auto Focus) system or exposure metering which respect to film types or lenses. You need to combine the aperture and shutter speed together to get this value. For example, 1/125 and F2 is equal to EV9 which is also equivalent to F4 and 1/30.

Dedicated and Non Dedicated Flash Units

Camera Manufacturers like Canon manufacture their own line of flash units to cater for their own range of cameras. The Canon line of flash units is known as the Speedlite series. These flash units are able to communicate with camera system thus allowing the photographers to enjoy more precision photography. They are called dedicated flash units. Non dedicated flash units are those flash units which are manufactured by third party manufacturers. They are usually generic and are not able to communicate with the camera system.

Shoe Mount

Usually located on the top mirror or prism housing, the shoe mount is a slide-in rectangular socket meant for attaching an external flash unit to the camera. They are also known as “Hot Shoe Mount” as they possess an electrical circuit which will initiate the flash unit once it is attached to the camera. Canon EOS cameras have an additional four electrical points in the shoe mount which transmit data from the flash trigger.

The Redeye Effect

A common occurrence with flash photography is the “Red Eye Effect”. This happens when the light from the flash unit is reflected back into the camera from it bounces of the red blood vessels of the eyes. The situation tends to occur in environment with low ambient lighting causing the pupils of the eyes to dilate bigger to allow for more light to enter the eyes.

Redeye Reduction

To reduce the problem of Red Eye, one can use several methods. The most effective way is to distance the flash away from the lens or bounce the flash light onto the subject as opposed to flashing directly at the subject. The other way is for the subject to observe a bright light source just before taking the subject picture. This will make the pupils smaller and thus lessening the reflective capability of the retina.

If you are planning a trip to Spain, don’t miss visiting the Murcia region. Here are some tips to make sure that you and your family will enjoy your trip even more.

Murcia is the capital of the Costa Calida and is part of the Mar Menor, an outdoor sports Mecca. Murcia has a lot to offer tourists both young and old. In fact, San Javiera Airport has experienced a 77 percent increase in traffic between 1996 and 2006. Many people visit from other regions of Spain, such as Alicante

Once you’ve settled in one of the many great hotels or inns, be sure to explore downtown Murcia. First of all, visit the cathedral, with its imposing spire. The cathedral’s doors have fascinating carvings showing the Apostles and other important figures in Christian history. Inside the chapel, admire the beautiful artwork and soak in the reverent atmosphere. Be sure to climb to the top of the spire for a fantastic view of the region.

Be sure to visit the Almudi Art Palace, which houses the city’s archives. The local clergy once used this building to collect tithes (usually corn crops) from the faithful. You can find out about this and other parts of Murcian history in the Museo de la Ciudad (city museum). You can see many fascinating items from the city’s past as well as a Moorish orchard.

Murcia is on of Spain’s educational centers: In fact, there are more than 30,000 students in this place nicknamed the University City. For that reason there is plenty for young people to do here, from outdoor activities to clubs. If you enjoy water sports, you’ve come to the right place, with swimming, sailing, fishing and water skiing all readily available.

Murcia has plenty places for you to just kick back and relax. For example, visit the Spa La Manga Club or the Las Lomas Village and Spa for reflexology, massage, hot tubs and more. These are elegant locations for you to pamper yourself.

Once you’ve relaxed, you’re ready to take on the nightlife in this college town. The Gran Casino Murcia has all the excitement of a European casino along with an elegant ballroom. There are also plenty of other nightspots for you to get the local color.

Murcia is a busy, fun place to visit. To get the most out of your trip, be sure to start making your travel plans early. Use your favorite search engine and type in “Murcia” to begin discovering all this region has to offer. Be sure to book your reservations well in advance: you never know when graduations or other university events will result in filled-up hotels.

Once there, you will easily understand why Murcia is such a popular destination. Why not plan to visit soon? It will be a most memorable experience.

The art of giving baby shower gifts is all about creativity and individuality this year. Although there are many gifts that are suitable for both baby boys and girls, there are some items that make particularly great presents specifically for each gender. This article will offer some clever ideas that are perfect for any new baby boy shower.

A classic favorite that has become increasingly popular this year for baby showers is the baby shower cake. Diaper cakes are appealing to the eye and extremely useful for any mommy-to-be. These beautiful creations resemble a real, multi-layered cake and hold different types of essential items for your baby. The cake is constructed of good quality diapers, such as the Pampers brand, beautifully tied together with ribbon and adorned with necessary baby items like bibs, rattles, and baby bottles.

Now, there are many businesses that are exclusively dedicated to making and selling different types of diaper cakes. Baby shower cakes for baby boys are as cute as can be, and are usually themed after a “boyish” theme like sports, tools, or animals. Classic diaper cakes for baby boys are white and baby blue, with patterns like polka dots, stripes, plaid, or gingham. A baby boy-themed diaper cake makes a great-looking present, ranks among the most popular gifts for this year, and is among the most useful of all gifts.

A humorous but remarkably smart new creation that any mother of a baby boy will appreciate and use on a daily basis is the new “Pee-Pee TeePee.” The name of this great, new creation probably gives you a pretty good idea of what it can possibly be. When parents of baby boys change their little diapers, they can be exposed to an unexpected spring of the little one’s “pee-pee.” The Pee-Pee TeePee is a cute, small teepee-shaped, 100% cotton cone that can be placed on your baby boy’s wee-wee during diaper changes to avoid a pee-pee surprise! Pee-Pee TeePees come in different colors and with a decorative pattern such as little airplanes in the sky.

A very popular gift for parents of a baby boy who are sports fans or college graduates is sports fan baby boy clothing. Whether it be a college sports team or a major league team, a clothing item representing the parents’ favorite sports team is bound to make smiles happen. Football or basketball jerseys, a T-shirt with the team’s logo, a baseball cap, or a track suit are all fabulous ideas for baby sportswear.

Little wagon gift sets are an alternative to traditional gift baskets and have a boyish twist to the common baby shower gift. These are usually little red wagons filled with learning toys, stuffed animals, and baby essentials for your little one. Little wagon gift sets stand out from ordinary gift baskets with their extraordinary look and fun appearance.

These are some of the most popular baby boy gifts that are both fun and practical and are sure to please any new Mom, Dad and Baby.

The holidays conjure up all sorts of feelings in people. For families that have experienced happy harmonious celebrations the holidays are something to look forward to.

For families that have a history of being dysfunctional the holidays my mean sad memories and dread at getting together again. For families that do not celebrate the holidays due to their beliefs it may be a time of feeling excluded and even alienated. No matter where you fall in this continuum the holidays are quickly approaching and gift lists and shopping needs to begin.

Visit a crafts store for the ultimate basket choice. Kids like handled baskets they can swing as they carry a booty of candy to their room! Large shallow rectangular or oval baskets are perfect containers for homemade muffins, breads, cookies and jams. Crafts stores also have ribbons and laces, dried flowers and cute faux bird ornaments to embellish your basket.

First of all, you want to choose the containers for the Christmas food hampers. There are typically three kinds of containers available. One is a lovely box that looks like a wrapped present. There is a postal box that is quite plain and more utilitarian in looks. Then there is my personal favorite; the picnic basket.

Now you’re ready to start with the contents. One theme could be favorite foods. Does your sister love everything Cajun? Line her basket in red-hot cellophane, and fill it with assorted hot sauces, Cajun seasonings and maybe some boxed jambalaya or “dirty rice” mixtures. You can attach recipes to the hot sauce bottles for blackened catfish or gumbo for an exemplary Christmas gift food basket.

Through the year I look for different containers to use for the Christmas gift baskets. Most times I do use baskets however depending upon the likes and personality of the recipient I may use another type of container. One year my nephew was just getting into fishing so I used a tackle box for his container.

My future endeavors are already in the works. Next year, I am going to get organized ahead of time. Now that I have practiced on the Internet I think that I have the skill that it takes to create my own Christmas food hampers without help.
One of my hampers is going to go to my brother. I’m attaching a card that says, “You drive me nuts.” Inside this Christmas food hamper will be a collection of his favorite nutty treats including chocolate covered macadamias and pistachios. I’m even going to add some hazelnut liquor in the mix.

Use your imagination and let the ideas fly. You can make an elegant Christmas food gift basket for everyone on your list. Remember, it’s Christmas, so pass the truffles!
